Review: Lenovo A328 , A super speciality phone at amazing price

Introduction

Its Diwali time in India and smartphone manufacturers are leaving no stones unturned to come with their innovative deals. Lenovo is one of them which has come with a very hot phone interestingly which is an entry-level smartphone, famously known for their A series There seems to be stiff competition though from Google Android One which is making manufacturers to design phone innovatively by bringing on same price range smartphones.
A smartphone that fits your pocket: Lenovo A380

Lenovo very smartly designed the phone brings nothing extravagant to the entry-level smartphone market, with minimalistic hardware that is powered by latest Android KitKat OS.

Getting to know about Lenovo A328

  • The phone bears a 4.5 inch (854 x 480 pixel) capacitive touch screen display which is not excellently lucrative to user but the main usp of this phone is a 1.3 GHz quad-core Mediatek processor with 1 GB of RAM and 4 GB of memory that is expandable via a micro SD card slot. Now that is an amazing deal.

  • Build & Quality

  • The plastic of the phone is pretty high end and will not give a feeler of cheapness at all. The 5 MP primary camera with an LED flash on the back with a 2 MP front-facing unit gives a quite a crispy pictures and can replace your digicam for day to day use easily.

  • From connectivity perspective the radios includes WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.0 with the dual SIM functionality.

  • The handset as alluded earlier is powered by Android KitKat 4.4 and is complemented by a 2000 mAh battery
With so many players in the space of entry level smart phone, one thing that outshines Lenovo’s is indeed a list of DO it apps that allow for seamless data sharing, better security and syncing.

The Lenovo A328 comes in black and white and is priced at Rs 7,299 . The handset is available on Lenovo’s online.

General observation & verdict

Lenovo A328 is truly a great smartphone however there are enough players in the market who can bring the honeymoon down for them.

We would have expected it to be priced at INR 6500/- which would have had a net trend in that space. However knowing Lenovo just like Blackerry, we can see a price cut in next few weeks time.
