Review: Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 (India Edition)

Introduction

Mega-2
Almost a month after its launch,Galaxy Mega 2 has made its way to India with a price tag of Rs. 20900. The phablet comes with 6-inch screen and Android Kitkat. Galaxy Mega seems to be an ideal mid-range range phone for Big Screen-Good camera segment. As the Android Lollipop gets almost confirmed for Galaxy Note 4, we hope this phone should not lag much behind.
Galaxy Mega 2 can be purchased from company’s e-store. We expect it to be launched in the e-markets and retails stores soon.

Getting to Know Galaxy Mega 2

Galaxy Mega 2 comes with an impressive 6-inch TFT screen with HD resolution of 1280 x 720. The phone has a typical Samsung build and finish and does not look much different from its Note and S series. The design appears to be an offspring between Note & S series. That is an intelligent move by Samsung designers.

Build & Quality

As alluded above this phone has been crafted between the two most hot selling phones from Samsung, and from first sight the phone looks really high end. The finishing and quality of plastic used in this phone is really nice. The grip of phone is firm and it goes very well with styling of business users. Lets look at the broader specs. in detail:

Camera

The Samsung Galaxy Mega-2 has a 8 Mega pixels for the regular photo buffs and 5 megapixels for selfie lovers. Needless to say Samsung’s has always been among the best in the market. Good Camera and Large Screen makes it an irresistible combo

The best thing that we liked about this phone is the battery. It comes with Li-ion 2800 mAh bar which should last easily for a day.
