For those who are unaware of ZTE, ZTE Corporation is a Chinese multinational telecommunications company based out of Shenzhen, China. It is among the top 5 manufactures at home and among top 10 in the world.  ZTE Blade was first launched  in 2010 and has seen Blade II and Blade III in the following years. The latest launch in the Blade series is the S6 plus which offers great specification at very reasonable prices.

The ZTE Blade S6 plus is an enhancement to the popular S6 with a bigger 5.5 inch screen and 64-bit processor, making it an attractive buy. The phone runs on Android Lollipop out of the box and has Adreno 405 GPU for spectacular visual performance. The phone is high on RAM which allows smooth running of all the apps.

Build & Quality

The phone resembles iPhone 6 in many ways with its round home button , curved side and flat black. It also has faux - aluminium finish which enriches the over all beauty of this phone. The neat home button glows in blue with menu and back capacitive buttons converted to dots.

Processor & RAM: This smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615), coupled with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU. Playing games on this device will be a delight with no visual lag for most of the games.

Display: The phone also bears impressive  5.5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) resolution display. The icons have smooth edges and has great touch sensitivity.

Camera: S6 plus has an upper end 13.0MP rear camera with Sony Exmor IMX214 CMOS sensor (1080p video @ 30fps). A high mega-pixel count puts it up in comparison to the most of the flagship devices such as LG G3, Nexus 6 and Samsung Note 3. The image quality is good but it trails behind when compared to the flagship devices. In low lights the details were missing but during broad daylight the images were quite up to the mark.

Storage: Blade S6 plus comes on-boarded with 16 GB storage which can be expanded up to 64GB.

OS: With limited devices running on Android 5.0 , this devices comes as a big relief for those who wish to try the latest android at minimum expenses.

Battery: The phone is powered by 2400mAh battery which has a talk time of 13 hours, and standby time up to 779 hours.

Connectivity: The phone comes with 3G and 4G LTE options, along with standard Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, NFC , Wi-Fi, and USB.
