Introduction

Just weeks after Apple launched it much hyped and buzzed iPhone 6 with a screen which is bigger than bigger; Samsung today launched Galaxy Note 4.

Interestingly, Note 4 will be available on the same day iPhone will hit the markets i.e. 17th October 14. Galaxy Note has always been a premium series phone and has always maintained the top spot in the phablets market. Note 4 is expected to be launched at a whopping Rs 61,500, although the market price will be slightly lower at Rs 58,300.

Getting to know about Note 4

Note 4 has not changed much in looks as compared to its predecessor. It still has the faux leather back with improved stitching. The screen is 5.7-inches and slightly heavier than Note 3.

Build & Quality

What really is impressive is the screen resolution which is a Quad HD Super AMOLED display (2560 x1440 pixels resolution) with a pixel density of 515 pixels per inch. It is one of the most stunning screens given its size, watching videos on this should be delight. The image quality, look and feel will be excellent beyond any doubt.

The Note 4 has a camera with Optical image stabilization which gives you 16 mexapixels density. Needless to say the camera quality has always been a game changer for Samsung. The front camera is 3.1 megapixels and should be ideal for Selfies. We expected the front camera to notch up to 8 megapixels but this is something we still need to wait on.

The Samsung Note 4 is powered by 2.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 SoC processor with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory. In terms of space, the Note 4 might just prove to be a better deal than the iPhone 6 plus, since there is no 32 GB version of the iPhone. One thing to watch is 4g which is not available on Note 4.

Other connectivity options are NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, and of course WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2X2 MIMO which ensures better download and upload speeds).

The Galaxy Note 4 has a 3220mAh battery and this phablet was marketed as Fast Charging phone. The phone will go from zero to 50 per cent in around 30 minutes, which sounds great on paper. Of course, we can only talk about this more, once we’ve spent some time with the smartphone.

Good looking smart-phone - Note4

General Observation & Verdict
In conclusion, this is a high class business phone suited for office purpose especially who like to design on the way, go through and prepare presentation, Big battery back will make it last long when on trips.

The only thing that is likely to trip is the price tag of about 60K and with Iphone 6 out in the field only time will take a call on the popularity of this device.Stay tuned for detailed specification of Samsung Note 4 and don’t forget to leave your thoughts below.
