Getting to know about VIBE X2

Vibe X2 Variants
The VIBE X2 is aimed for the youths with much emphasis given on the overall design and color. The phone comes in three variants of white, red, gold and charcoal layers. The phone has 2GB RAM and efficient OctaCore processor. The VIBE X2 allows you to customize the GUI and has options to choose between the icons. The phone does not allow you to install custom themes but it comes with several attractive inbuilt themes - Something to Lookout for...

Build and Quality

The strongest aspect of this phone is off beat sporty style. The phone describes itself as “Stand apart from the crowd with the unique VIBE multi-layered design, crafted to fit your multi-layered lifestyles.” The multi colors gives it a very rich and classy look and fits into the page 3 category of product

Camera

Camera of Vibe X2
The VIBE X2 sports a 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels selfie camera and has a new simplified UI and runs on Android™ 4.4 Kit-Kat out of the box. Camera gives you several options for editing and also has an anti-shake for those of you who don’t have a very steady hand.
Though the camera works in daylights, the camera fails to our expectation under low light and night conditions. The images appear grainy and lack the detail a 13megapixed camera provides.
Another aspect of VIBE X2 is Instant On that gives you quick access to your camera and other important apps.
One the left of the rear side is the camera lens and LED flash. You can also find Lenovo branding and a small speaker at the back.

Processor

VIBE X2 has gone beyond expectation and powers its device with a MediaTek’s advanced 4G LTE octa-core processor. The 2 GB ram along with the powerful processor makes sure there are no lags while playing games and a smooth comfortable experience while browsing the phone. The four high-intensity cores run at 2.0 GHz, while four low-intensity cores run at 1.69 GHz

Display

UI of Vibe X2
Vibe X2 has a full HD ((1920x1080) 5 inch multi-touch capacitive screen. The screen offers good sensitivity and it feels very light with the dimensions (68.6x7.27x140.2mm).The phone can be used comfortably with one hand and yet does not appear fragile and flimsy.
For those of you who tend to use your phone rather roughly, VIBE X2 has given you extra protect with Gorilla Glass 3 to guard against minor scratches.

Storage and Battery

With 32GB internal memory and 2300mAH battery the manufactures have hit the right chords to make it a compelling choice for the buyers. The only downside is the memory cannot be expanded using external memory card

General Observation & Verdict

Going with the checklist of the modern day features, the VIBE X2 has covered all the points and with a price range of less than Rs 20,000 or $320, this phone can be considered to be among the best in segment. The design has undoubtedly given it a 1 up against all the major players. If camera is something that doesn’t bother you much, this phone can just be the one to hit the spot for you.
