Vietnam’s EV giant VinFast is moving fast in India. After the VF 6 and VF 7, the brand is now gearing up to launch its first MPV — the VF MPV 7 on April 15.

🚘 Design: Familiar Yet Striking
The VF MPV 7 looks bold and clean. Signature V-shaped LED DRLs, smooth sides, and connected tail lamps give it a modern EV identity.
It’s big too — nearly 4.7m long — which translates into serious road presence.

🛋️ Cabin: Space = Big Win, Features = Missed Opportunity
This is where the MPV shines.
Super spacious 3 rows (even the third row is usable!)
Plush seats and airy layout
Practical touches everywhere
But here’s the catch:
No sunroof, ADAS, or 360° camera — features Indian buyers now expect.
⚡ Performance: Smooth but Not Sporty
60.13 kWh battery
~500 km claimed range
201 bhp / 280 Nm
Driving feel? Smooth and easy — perfect for families.
But acceleration feels slightly lazy for its size (0–100 ~10.5 sec in real-world testing).

🛣️ Ride & Handling: Surprisingly Confident
For a big MPV, it handles well.
Stable at high speeds
Controlled body roll
Comfortable ride (India-spec tuning expected to improve further)
Downside: noticeable outside noise at times.
🧠 Verdict: Sensible Choice, Needs More Features
The VF MPV 7 is a no-nonsense family EV — spacious, comfortable, and practical.
But in India, where features often seal the deal, missing out on key tech could hurt its appeal against rivals like Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMax 7.
👉 Final word:
Great foundation + needs more features = potential winner (if priced right).
👍 Pros
Spacious & practical
Premium minimal design
Smooth electric drive
👎 Cons
Missing key features (ADAS, sunroof, 360 cam)
Slightly dull acceleration
Cabin noise could be better
